Hello all, today was a rather memorable day for me, n will continue to be so. Let me tell ya why...

Tts cos today was the Temasek Secondary Sec 4/2 Reunion Dec 2003.

Haha. It was sooo nice to see all those familiar faces n happy smiles again. Suet Ting was also back from Australia today n it was so cool to see her again, wif long hair! I sure missed the days when we all used to hang out in class n chat in between lessons n between breaks. No dumb lectures to attend. The teachers had to do the walking only! We cld even argue wif teachers abt homework, so unlike now...

Even though there were "no shows" for various reasons, 19 of us managed to make it for the dinner reunion at Han's River Table BBQ, Eastpoint, Simei. It was the place tt we had our last reunion in June, though only half the number attended. Today there were:
Gals: Me, Cel, Shu Hong, Mao, Clarice, Thien Fui, Suet Ting
Guys: Chin Yuan (hmm.. shld put him under gals haha), Young Chuan, Wen Jie, Jing Kai, Yan Leng, Jin Bao, Hong Tat, Hussein, Farhan, Hafiiz, Siraj, Manfred

So there we met, outside the restaurant. I was jumping up n down when I saw everyone. We waited n chatted at the railings surrounding the centre of the mall, n finally went in when most arrived.

So, as we started eating, all the late-comers steadily trickled in. Greetings were exchanged, jokes were made n everybody settled down to clear plates of raw food onto the sizzling "hotplates" set in the tables. It was a good thing we booked tables too, cos otherwise there wldnt be any space.

Over the hiss of food being cooked n soups being boiled in the bowls at the centre of the "hotplates", jokes were made, gossip was exchanged n over all pervaded an atmosphere of warmth, friendliness n relaxation. I havent felt tt in a long time. Every little thing was discussed, from Farhan's lament tt there were only 8 girls out of a 100+ Aeronautical Engineering students in SP, to the fact tt a gal went after Siraj during his first 3 mths. (at this point I commented tt the girl must be deaf n blind, n on this Hafiiz agreed wif me 100% haha) Everyone was busy catching up.

There was even a competition among the guys to see who cld eat the most desserts, as the cup ice-creams, flurry ice-creams, mango pudding and lychee jelly were free flow. Pretty soon there were 2, 1 metre tall towers. One of cup ice-cream cups, another of empty pudding and jelly containers, which were identical. Haha. Yan Leng ate too much, n was threatening to throw up after tt.

We ate for nearly 3 hrs, n slowly the sky outside the window grew dark, since we had started eating at 5 plus. Before long, when I glanced outside, the lights on some of the trees were on, darkness had fallen and we ended our reunion dinner thingy at 8 smth.

After tt, we were all stumped on what to do. Hussein agreed to give us a treat. He specified coffee SHOP. But, Mao insisted he meant coffee BEAN. A bitter struggle ensued, n in the end nobody won. In the end, some left for home or other commitments, including me, while the others went to play pool.

Well, apart from a fun day, we also had a photo session today.

Oh well, what can I say? Only tt I had a rollin' good time. Hope there will be many more such outing in the future.
