Today NDP again. Got to know Jasmine, Cynthia's friend, and another gal called Elizabeth. Yo Cel, Rui Zhi from TJ library is her best friend.

Today got the chance to direct the public, which I liken to herding sheep. We had to use barricades, both actual ones and human ones, to control the flow of people. Kept repeating directions until my throat was hoarse. My arm ached too from constantly holding it up to point directions.

It was so blardy muddy as well, cos of the heavy rain earlier. The Padang grounds were covered with puddles and mud. My shoes and jeans are aplattered. So disgusting.

Then throughout this NDP, all the ushers couldn't sit, as there there was the public around and we couldnt be seen slacking. Though it was kinda unfair cos some of the army personnel and other helpers were sitting on the empty seats. Jasmine was so bored she started to wave at some of the performers. One of them, a friendly uncle from SOKA, actually waved back. Lol.

"Hey, your uncle ar?"

"No la... I don't know him. He just wave back lor."

0.o???

After the whole thing, both of us stood behind the barricades, directing the crowd. We got bored then we decided to wave goodbye to the leaving people.

They didn't respond. Sob sob. So malu.

After that, de-briefing, then hoooome....

So sad, had to give SMUve, or the SMU campus move celebrations a miss. There was a concert at SMU BT, with Electrico! Waaaaa...
