Long time no blog.

My apologies. Haha. It's just that I've been so busy for the past week.

Today, I was finally assigned my Business Law course. Phew, my time-table is settled at last.

And so it was that at 8.30am this morning, I sat down with Clarice and Jack to stone for the lesson.

And it was hard.

Firstly, this was already the third lesson. As a result, there were a whole lot of terms being thrown about that we hadn't a clue about.

Secondly, we were surprised by the fact that there were weekly presentations. Every week, a group would discuss a case study and illustrate the rights of the various parties involved in each situation. Mostly, they dealt with issues such as loss and compensation etc.

Lastly, I didn't have the textbook. And when I finally saw what the book looked like... Well, its not exactly pleasure reading. :p

After the first hour, I was just getting the hang of it when the prof stopped to ask if everyone had read the case study assigned last week.

The class fell silent.

The prof then asked if the group that was supposed to be in charge of that case study if they had gone through it.

Another period of awkward silence.

And in a maneouvre that made many a jaw drop, the prof shut her file and proclaimed loudly that "We'll stop here."

She went on to advise us to stop fooling around and put in the effort required to study the course. Then, she announced that everyone was to come back on Sat at 9am to continue the lesson.

The rest of the class tittered among themselves.

The prof began to pack her stuff.

Jack turned to me and Clarice to go down and see the prof. The BOSS results weren't out as yet, as it was due to be out at noon that day. However, we thought it would be best to see the prof to explain that we were new to the class.

Another Year One girl, Marilyn, came with us. So the three of us headed down to see her. Two other Year Ones were already there talking to her.

Thankfully, the prof wasn't harsh. She listened to us and sympathized with our plight. As a result, the meeting on Sat was cancelled. Instead, we were to stay back for an hour after the Mon lesson.

So, we saved the class. =)

Not bad for a first biz law lesson. Haha.

Now back to my reading. -_-"
