It's all over! At last. =x

Finally finished an intensive 2-hour packing session. Have placed all the delicate items in boxes, covered all the electronic equipment with newspapers and wrapped other belongings in plastic bags.

Workers from Star Pest Control are coming down tomorrow to fumigate my house. We have been having a mosquito problem for some time now, and it's getting serious since they keep popping up over and over again. So, we decided to take things into our own hands and gas/spray the entire house.

The whole thing will last an hour, after which we have to siam the place for 4 whole hours while the poison settles.

Just great.

Hopefully I've remembered everything, especially the valuables. It's so troublesome... we even have to tape down the gaps in the cupboard doors so that the insecticide won't reach our clothes.

And tomorrow morning we all have to get up early again, cos there's more stuff to pack. It's mainly the toiletries that we use to wash up and bathe, and the food and beverages for breakfast that need to be stored away. Not to mention wrapping the living room TV set and storing away my laptop. Can't expect us to survive one night without TV, or me without internet for that matter.

After this, there'll still be a follow-up session one week from now to check if the mosquitoes have been completely wiped out.
