I've got the flu. Congrats to me.

Had a nasty sore throat last night. I initially thought it was heatiness so I didn't do much except gulp down water. This morning when I woke up, my throat was sore and my nose blocked. I know the signs. I have the flu.

The irony of it all, having just watched a movie about a killer virus yesterday. Bleagh. = =ll

Went to see my usual doctor this afternoon, but he was closed, and would stay closed all the way till Friday. Thus, had to see a more expensive GP. Gah. The meds she gave me were strong, and I spent the afternoon sleeping in bed. Just could not open my eyes.

Why do I always get sick towards the new year?
