Im my opinion, I wish someone would make RE movie sequels with Leon, Claire and the gang playing more central roles. I've never played the games myself, but I have watched the game walkthroughs. Its creepy as hell, and the characters and monsters are amazing. I also love how the plot twists and turns.
In my opinion, the movies should have been adapted more faithfully from the games like Silent Hill... though they are pretty good too.
Anyway, this is the original CGI movie from Capcom, with the plot staying faithful to game canon. The events take place after the fall of Umbrella with the nuclear bombing of Raccoon City, and introduces the G-virus, absent in the movies but present in the games.
