Greetings everyone, today was TJ's PDP Drive. Woohoo...

The time of year to lose all ur dignity in a desperate attempt to attract Year Ones into ur PDP. Oh yeah.

So anywayz today I went down bright n early at ard 8am in the morning to meet up wif the drama members. Saw Bhavna n Gini there first, the rest came later.

So, we went ard setting up the drama booth, the banner n practising the short act we wld be doing as a testament to how drama wld be like. Our act was sort of a play excerpt cum music video, abt the makings n breakings of a boy-girl-relationship. Those not involved were the Wanderers (pamphlet ppl)or the booth jagas. I was sort of in the middle, doing both jobs alternately.

I did wander a bit wif Gini n Qiaoqing a bit at first, but then i was wearing my u. When I did don the stupid cape n mask, however, I only wore it for only abt 5 mins before pulling them off. One must keep up appearances.

So anyway, we finally managed to grab, pull and beg a crowd large enough under LT2 to start the performance. The music snapped on n all the actors did their job. Very funny. They were wearing suits n ties, n at 1 point they wld yank them off n fling them on the floor. At tt time during which I had to run in n pick 'em up. All of them looked like:

a) retrenched CEOs
b)drunk workers
c)sleazy salesmen

Haha. They were joking bout it too.

I also liked the last song, from the movie "Chicago".

Ba-da-ba bam! Boom boom! And all that Jazz!

However, there was one point during the 2nd performance when the chair tt 1 of the actors was sitting on actually collapsed. She had accidently put the chair on a drain grille n 1 of the legs had slipped between the gaps. Gd thing she was up-beat abt it. She non-chalantly announced tt it was all "Part of the show..."
Even so, she did whisper tt it was kinda embarrassing falling in front of so many ppl.

In the meantime, the Wanderers were wandering ard. We had originally wanted Adrian to go as a headless phantom by pulling the red cloth up over his head n using a purple balloon wif a mask on it as a fake head. However, the fact tt he cldnt see n was sneezing away under the dusty cloth made us change our minds.

Everything proceeded well enough though we had few males joining up. However, we hit over 40. Yes!

After the whole thing was over, we gathered round for Adrian's birthday party. There were all the drama members n some of his classmates, including Amos, Wenjie n Young Chuan. Amos n Wenjie were asking abt the class bbq.
Charlene's friend brought this teramitsu cake or smth n we tried to keep the candles burning. Me, Gini n Hui Xun were screaming, "Where's Adrian! Ahh! Tt one's out! Re-light quick!"

Well, b'day boy came running n he blew out the only lighted candle left. Then, he tried to cut the cake but ended up semi-demolishing it. In the end, Hui Xun took over.

She also got away wif smashing some on his face. The cream mosturizes, I suppose. :)

So tts abt it. We ate the cake, then broke up for home.
