Warning! Your electrical appliances can be deadly, especially if the powerpoints they are connected to aren't grounded properly.

Learnt this some time ago. Then, kena electric shock by my own laptop. Argh. Had to change the powerpoint cos its too old and a bit spoilt.

Not very pain la... Just felt like an ant bite. But a little uncomfortable if that keeps happening when you're typing (like now).

After a few times the charge gradually weakens before disappearing altogether. Cos the shock dissipates after it is released through contact.

According to my dad, it hurts more when you're grounded yourself (e.g. bare feet in contact with floor) cos the shock has a closed circuit to flow through. He should know, he's been electrocuted by a washing machine before. And that really hurt! Cos the power consumption is higher.

:p Weird things happen, when you least expect it.
