Went to my Uncle Bob's house today. Had lunch there and chatted with them. It's nice to see them after so long. I always visit them during the school holidays, which means a total of twice or thrice a year. They are such nice people, always welcoming me with open arms. Pete the budgeriar is still cute as ever.

After that, came home to bathe and change to go out again. Sharlene was gonna pick me up in her dad's car so that we could go down to Maxima. We were there to sit-in during an interview, as that was going to be part of our learning experience. During the course of our internship, we never had the chance. But now that there was a candidate, we all eagerly agreed to join Mr Ojha.

We had dinner at a hawker centre near my home, and then proceeded towards the city. She stopped the car outside Lau Pa Sat, and her dad came to collect it. Sharlene's dad is a really nice guy. He works for NTUC Income, so his office was just nearby.

We went across the street to City House, and came in to find Mr Ojha sitting in his room, door open as usual. He briefed us on the nature of the position, also passing us the candidate's resume for us to review during the interview. After that, he led the way to the meeting room.

It was a little squeezy at the small round table, but we all managed.

I won't say much about the candidate, as it's all confidential. But, it was amazing to see how Mr Ojha was able to drill her for information. This is necessary in his line of work, as candidates sometimes lie about their experience or compensation package, in order to land a job or a better deal respectively.

After that, Sharlene went to meet her bf while I headed downtown to PS to look for a birthday card. It was late, and so by the time I got home, I was dead beat and crashed straight into bed.
