I've been playing Human Age for over a month now and have found it to be rather fun.

A French-based RPG that currently has English and German versions, the goal of the game is to advance your character through various stages of human civilization. So far, 4 stages or Ages have been introduced. They are, namely: Age 1 (Jurassic), Age 2 (Celts), Age 3 (Egypt) and Age 4 (Greece). There are plans for at least 3 more stages, with the last Age set in our modern times. Currently, I'm still in Age 1 and have yet to accomplish all my goals, thus allowing me to evolve to Age 2.

What I like about this RPG is that its rather low maintenance. The progress may seem frustratingly slow for some, but basically you don't have to spend anything more than 10 minutes a day on it. All you need to do in the game is just log in once a day to feed, give water, heal or do whatever is necessary to your character. AFter that, you can just leave your character alone until the next update, which takes place at 12:00 GMT or 08:00 local Singapore time. During the update, your character gains a "moon" or day in age, finishes hunting and gains some loot, and becomes hungry and thirsty again. You also earn your wages at various jobs you can select from and the shops from which you purchase food and items are re-stocked. Due to its slow-paced nature, it's a pleasant way to end a day of hectic work and stress, since there is minimal time or effort commitment on your part.

So if you like something relaxing, go ahead and give it a try. Though it seems a bit boh liao, it does serve its purpose as a fun little distraction.

Oh and let me know if you do join. If there's enough people, we can even organize our own mammoth hunt! ;)
