If's its one thing I can't stand, it's bias.

It sucks, especially if you're the victim. When you turn to others and try to explain it to them, their usual reaction is "Oh don't be so paranoid..."

Bullshit. I know bias when I see it.

I suspect that I was a victim of it today, and the signs are all there. The difference in the responses, the oddly cryptic remarks and the rather offhandish manner in which I was dealt with.

Oh well...

Then again I'm not the only one. I've heard how others were treated, and the results are all the same. Shouldn't we be treated equally until judged objectively through our work?

Bias, however slight or deserving, is still hurtful to some extent.

I wish more people would keep that in mind. No matter how highly educated they are.
