Went out with Amanda today. Haven't seen her in months. Met her at PS and then went to Orchard to gia gia.

We wandered around Takashimaya and Ngee Ann city, before finally settling down at a Coffee Club to talk. It was super noisy, but we managed to shout above the din while dining on iced cappucino and a candied apple and ice cream dessert. Also passed her the birthday gift.

After that, we did more walking, talking and browsing. Found out about her life at NUS and how she's getting along. What I especially enjoyed was when we went to the Market Place at Paragon to look around. My god, they actually sell Japanese organic vegetables there at the unholy price of $169.00! No kidding. Then there was the beautiful sushi section. I felt like buying a whole slab of salmon and just gnawing on it. ^_^

In the end, we ended up eating at the Sun and Moon restaurant at Wheelock Place. The Jap food there was quite delicious, though a bit pricy. Once we were done, we headed to Isetan Lido to look at more food before going home.
